OUR REMARKABLE STORY

2012

In October 2012, our CEO Rubén Ruiz founded Overseas Translations. His experience gained in another European company in the translation industry and the extensive background in international trade as well as his passion for languages enabled him to launch the Overseas project in the midst of a global crisis. The company has been prospering year by year ever since.

2012

2016

With the incorporation of our Co-CEO Anna Misiewicz into the company, we were able to set up our production and quality departments. Her invaluable experience and expertise allowed Overseas Translations to make a quantum leap and take all our services to a higher echelon.

2016

2017

Our company is ISO 9001:2015 (Quality management systems) and ISO 17100:2015 (Translation services) certified. We pride ourselves on this significant milestone as very few companies in the sector have both certifications.

2017

2018

We expanded the Production Department and added a new specialisation—the medical and pharmaceutical sector. That year was marked by growth, particularly in the ceramic sector, another field that we operate in.

2018

2019

We incorporated the Business Development Manager position into our team to accentuate our clear commercial commitment to the continuous expansion of our client and service portfolio.

2019

2020-2021

We adopted new marketing strategies and reactivated our social media pages. We also launched a new project management platform with a web plug-in for our clients: they can use it to access and carry out all project-related matters remotely if they so prefer. Our company continued to grow in spite of the global pandemic thanks to the clients' trust in us.

2020-2021

2022

We launched our redesigned and enhanced website that showcases our ample array of services in a more appealing and professional format, allowing for a 360º client experience.
